Welcome to Mrs. Bilberry's homepage!

I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade music at Reeds Spring Primary School this year! I hold a bachelor's degree in K-12 music education from Kansas State University and a master's degree from Baker University. I  have 8 years teaching music in public schools

I have been married to my husband for 16 years, and we have two beautiful daughters ages 7 and 10. I also own two kitty cats that our family adores. I enjoy hiking, physical fitness, cooking, sewing, reading, blogging, and of course, music! In addition to singing, I am a proficient violinist.

I look forward to a great year making beautiful music with all of my fabulous students! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Veteran's Day Tribute, Rise and Shine Assembly, 11/7/16

This year some of our first grade friends honored our Veterans by singing "American's We" at our Rise and Shine Assembly on November 7th. They did great and were so proud and thankful to sing about our country as a way to say thank you to all brave men and women who have served our country.

Photos have been updated!

Be sure to check out our technology photo album.  Kindergartners got their first taste of music composition using the ipads.  All students, under the direction our student teacher Ms. Kiser, learned how to compose their own tunes on the ipad using a different combinations of high and low sounds.  Fun was had by all!

1st Grade Concert

The first grade holiday program date has been set.  December 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the Primary School gymnasium the Primary School 1st graders will be doing a spectacular performance of "Is Santa Smarter!"  So mark your calendars and be prepared to be amazed as these young  singers put on a show you will never forget.  More detailed information will be sent out as the date approaches.  See you there!

Coming Soon!

As the school year begins and students start to become comfortable using their ipads, most teachers will begin utilizing a program called Seesaw.   At a later date, you will be receiving more information from your child's teacher how you can use it at home to see your child's work.

I will occasionally be posting recordings of your child's work on their seesaw account so you can see what they've been up to in music class, so make sure to check it often so you can share in the joy of music learning with your child.
