I love reading.

My Pedagogy Statement

I believe technology can provide limitless learning opportunities for any individual. Students have different goals and ability levels, but all are capable of improving and gaining skills. Technology is an invaluable tool to enhance learning and each person is able to learn at their own pace and level. Every student can grow to become a productive member of society.

As a teacher, I will prepare lessons which meet the individual needs of my students. These lessons will focus on improving reading, writing, and math skills and will be supported by technology. Technology will provide the opportunity for the students to take some ownership in their learning and will provide some choice in what they are learning.

My students will use technology to further their knowledge in reading, writing, and math. They will be able to turn in assignments and collaborate with classmates using their technology devices. Assistive technology that will read written text and provide students with reading practice will be utilized by the students. My students will be exposed to real life situations using technology.
